Colebrook Kiwanis Meeting Information:We meet every Tuesday morning for a breakfast meeting at 7:15am in the Wilderness Restaurant, 181 Main Street, Colebrook, New Hampshire.Here we arrange our community and fund-raising events, but in the process have a lot of laughs. Fines are voted on at the whim of any member present, though at 25 cents a time, it’s not too wallet threatening.You are welcome to come along and see what we get up to.Who we are and what we do!The Colebrook Kiwanis Club is a Community Service Organization. Our efforts are dedicated to benefiting the greater Colebrook community. Our focus ranges from sponsored youth oriented programs to our hospital beds program. Other efforts include maintenance of our two Kiwanis Parks (Beaver Brook Falls and Kiwanis Park) as well as various scholarship programs. Our scope of activities spans a myriad of projects designed to improve the overall quality of life in the greater Colebrook area.We welcome new members who are interested in participating in our wide ranging community service efforts. Upcoming EventsAugust 1st & 2nd - The Circus is Coming to TownOn August 1st and 2nd the Circus is coming to Colebrook sponsorted by the Kiwanis Club of Colebrook. Tickets are $15 per adult with two children admitted free with each adult admission. Performances are at 3pm & 5:30pm on Saturday, 1st August; and at 2pm & 4:30pm on Sunday.Please buy your tickets in advance from Lin-Jo’s or from any Colebrook Kiwanian. A percentage of the price from tickets bought in advance goes to support the Kiwanis work with children and the local community.Food Trailer AppearancesThe famous (infamous?) Kiwanis Food trailer will be putting in an appearance at the following events over the next few weeks:August 7th - 8th, Stewartstown DayAugust 28th & 29th, Moose Festival September 26th, Dixville RacesIn addition the equally renowned Kiwanis Chicken BBQ will be present at the Moose Festival on August 28th in Colebrook.Come and enjoy some hot food and help the children and local communities at the same time.
